I started as an Associate Technical Designer at BioWare in 2021 and quickly picked up Frostbite schematics visual scripting. By the end of the project I owned quite a number of interactable assets, and contributed to many more. I also spent over a year helping out Level Design by implementing side content and aided the UI/UX teams with their bugs closer to the ship date. My work on Dragon Age earned me 3 promotions and I finished out 2024 as a Technical Designer II - shortly after Dragon Age: The Veilguard shipped. During my last year on the project I designed and implemented a number of side quests as well as debugged and fixed a number of issues for the UI team. I loved my time on this project and would do it all over again in a heartbeat.
I worked with Level Design, and Writing closely on this quest. My work included scripting it, setting up the first three demon combats, putting together props and gameplay components when needed, and creating the opening sequences of all four encounters. I also coordinated with multiple other departments to bring it to a shippable quality.
