I scripted the behavior of this asset in addition to placing and scaling its sub-components
The Fade Tears are used in various locations throughout the game including Minrathous and Arlathan forest exploration, as well as some mainline quests. They are essentially a floating trap asset. When approached, they become more active and will eventually explode if the player gets close enough.
States
Idle (Default): There is a diamond shaped tear vfx floating in the air
Active: The player has come close to the trap without triggering the explosion. VFX and audio is more active as though the tear is reacting to your proximityÂ
Destroyed: If the player gets too close, an AOE indicator appears and is shortly followed by an explosive blast. The tear ceases to exist after exploding

You cannot activate this trap from range
If the player is sprinting straight under the tear, they should be hit by the blast unless they dodge at the last minute
