I started worked as a Technical Designer II on skate. in the fall of 2024. My work on this project is not yet live and as such cannot be discussed as per my NDA. I started out on this project directing my own learning and prototyping simple assets to get to know the systems. I wrote and audited design documentation for initiatives that added onto existing systems. I gathered feedback, iterated, and then presented my designs to the initiative team. From there, I prototyped designs and got further feedback. I am hoping to see my design come to fruition in the seasons to come!
I also spent a lot of time supporting other team members with their bugs and systems. For example: I completed a task that added some additional functionality into the level design toolbox. I am adept at testing and debugging and was able to aid many different developers by finding the root cause of issues they had not had the time to tackle. After consulting with the content owners, I would implement the agreed on fix and then make sure to get their signoff before committing the fix.Â
