I scripted the behavior of this asset in addition to animating and placing its sub-components
I built this sigil asset with two additional variants - a medium and large ring that all fit together to create one large circular object. They can be found after an expansive puzzle in Arlathan Forest and after two different Dragon combats. Picking up each of the sigils sees them disintegrate into ash and a mysterious voice starts speaking. They have hidden complexity that isn't found in any of the other gameplay components I created. First off, these sigils each grant you a codex entry. The more hidden and interesting complexity is that the sigils are found from smallest to largest no matter which trial the player completes first, second, and third. Finding all three sigils unlocks a hidden scene during the end credits.
States
Enabled (Default): The sigil spins like a record if a record were floating at an angle in the air. It also bobs up and down and emits a firey VFX
Disabled: Sigil is visible but cannot be collected
Discovered: The sigil prop is locked so that the next sigil found is the next larger size
Collected: The sigil disappears, a codex entry is received, and VO is kicked off
