I scripted the behavior of this asset and its sub-components. I also created the prop out of existing assets
I built these braziers specifically for the "Pinnacle of its Kind" side quest which was one of the questlines I implemented when I was helping Level Design out nearer to the end of the project. There is one in each of Hossberg Wetlands, Arlathan Forest, and Docktown. These braziers could be interacted with once the player obtained this quest and it would spawn a demon for the player to battle. Whenever a demon was killed, the brazier flame would turn from a Necropolis green hue to a normal looking fire. Each brazier is set up in an area along with normal counterparts that are non interactive and function as a normal brazier props.
States
Disabled (Default): The braziers sit in this state until the quest to find them is active. They are non interactive, but their flame is green
Enabled: When the quest is active, they become interactable
Active: After interaction, the flame extinguishes and a demon appears. If the demon is not defeated, the flame will return to the Enabled state
Completed: Once the demon is killed, the flame reignites a normal color and the brazier acts like any other brazier prop in the area
More
When active, there is VO that activates on proximity to indicate that something of interest is near by
These brazier having the necropolis flame before the quest was found was intentionally done. Since the demon that was posessing these areas was ancient, it made more sense that there were indications that it had been there all along
